My brother had an impulse that he swapped in the “big block” out of a Storm Gsi. That car was a nimble rocket, he even installed a Quaife lsd. Then after I bought his old project escort gt he bought an Impulse RS. Which is what I should have done, man that was everything I still want in a car

Had a 1991 GEO Storm GSI manual, one of my favorite cars out of many cars I’ve owned, including various BMWs, Mustangs, Etc.

OK. So I heard the team that worked on the Impulse RS later moved to Subaru after GM killed their work and that lead to the Impreza. Any truth to that?
